As has been my habit, I have found myself looking back at 2010 to determine whether I wish it a fond adieu or good riddance. As I open the karmic ledger and look back upon the year that was, I can only conclude that it was indeed a good year.
My wife and children have continued to amaze me at every turn, filling my life with wonder and joy. Much writing got done, not as much as I hoped, but enough that my short story collection will be coming out before March. The day job continues to the pay the bills while still providing the motivation to make a go of the insane notion of being a writer.
So here's to 2010, a very good year. And here's to 2011, destined to be even better.
