About MeI cut my teeth in my late teens and early twenties writing for regional renaissance faires and dinner theater; worlds that feature intense collaboration and near immediate audience feedback. These early days ingrained in me a collaborative spirit that serves me well throughout the development process, and made me ruthlessly efficient when it comes time to implement notes on even the tightest of deadlines.
Over the years, I have gained life experience through a wide range of bill-paying jobs. I've worked as a book compositor, insurance salesman, corporate trainer, tarot card reader, construction worker, roller coaster operator, radio DJ, forklift driver, telemarketer, and more. Through it all I've continued to develop the distinctive voice showcased in my published short stories and novellas as well as a growing portfolio of as-yet-unproduced screenplays. My screenplays bear the mark of a wide range of influences, most notably indie films of the 80's and 90's. Readers and workshop participants have favorably compared my scripts to Hal Hartley, Jim Jarmusch, Wes Anderson, and early David Cronenberg.
